The Norwegian Investor Compensation Scheme is a private body, regulated by Norwegian law, in accordance with Directive 97/9/EC (ICS-directive). The scheme has its own board of directors, with four members elected by the member firms and one member from the Norwegian FSA.
The General Manager of the scheme is Arne Skauge of Finance Norway and the secretariat within the offices of the named association.
